​​INFORMATION ON PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA 

1. Controller
The controller of personal data is SGH Warsaw School of Economics with its seat in Warsaw, al. Niepodległości 162, hereinafter referred to as Controller or SGH.
2. Data Protection Officer

3. The purposes and legal basis of processing of personal data 
Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of:
a) submitting a paper and, if it is qualified, presenting it at "The Shadow Economy, Tax Behaviour and Insights from Big Data" conference, as well as contacting you in order to take further steps to enable participation in the conference.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is point (e) of Art. 6 (1) GDPR* (necessity for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest) and The Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws [Dz.U.] of 2020 item 574).
b) sending information related to the organization of the next edition of the “Shadow” conference, if you consent to this.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is point (e) of Art. 6 (1) GDPR (consent).
4. The period for which the personal data will be processed 
The personal data provided by you in connection with the application will be processed for the time necessary to achieve the purpose indicated in point 3 letter a).
In the case of processing based on consent - personal data will be processed until the consent to their processing is withdrawn.
5. Voluntary data provision
Providing personal data is voluntary, however necessary to for the purposes mentioned above. 
6. The recipients or categories of recipients of the personal data 
If the controller uses the services of other entities, personal data may be disclosed to them on the basis of contracts entrusting them with the processing of personal data, and these entities will be obliged to preserve the confidentiality of the processed data. 
7. The rights of data subject
You have the right to access your personal data, the right to their rectification, restriction of the processing and, in cases provided by law, their erasure. You have the right to object to processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time, which does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
Your data will not undergo profiling and no automated decision-making will be conducted based on these data.
8. The right to lodge a complaint 
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes upon GDPR.

Moreover, we would like to inform you that photos taken during the conference may be published on the SGH website, the Gazeta SGH website and on SGH social media.
